Willpower and YFCA

Why am I involved with YFCA?

I don’t have a lot of willpower. Somehow, throughout the course of my life, I have been fortunate to avoid the presence and pressure of drugs. There have been many people that I know – that I believe to be stronger willed than me – that have been affected by chemical dependency.

It’s important to provide support to the infrastructure of YFCA and our community. I find a personal and professional satisfaction to help others that want to make healthier choices with their lifestyle. It’s important to have the resources in place for those that need help. You never know who will need to be helped next.  It could be me, a family member, a friend, or a neighbor.

For 50 years, the YFCA has been providing high-quality professional services to help our neighbors in need. Let’s continue to support the YFCA for another 50!
